So… you want to play cornhole everywhere and anywhere? And you love to have fun? Sweet! There are options for you my friend. Tabletop cornhole is one of the coolest ways to compete at cornhole… and you can play it literally anywhere.

I want to discuss some of the different products available in the marketplace today, how much they cost and how they’re made. Buckle up for this fun ride through cyberspace as we look at this exciting (and at times funny) new adaptation of the hands down, number 1 tailgating game of all time.

Wood Tabletop Cornhole Boards

Wood tabletop cornhole boards are pretty much exactly what you are thinking. A mini sized set of cornhole boards, with tiny little bags that you can toss at the target. It’s just like the regular game but the bags are so small you are holding them with your forefinger and thumb as you get ready to toss.

It might sound a little nuts but these make for a great little office game. Something that can relieve a little stress and add a little competition to your afternoon lull. I find when I get zoned out from thinking and writing and producing videos about cornhole, I need to just take a minute and throw a couple bags. Fortunately for me, I work at Slick Woody’s, so I can go down to our warehouse and throw a game on regulation sized cornhole boards if I want (#blessed...lol).  The next best thing is tabletop cornhole though… trust me!

AJJ Cornhole | Wood Tabletop Cornhole Boards

AJJ Cornhole has been a respected cornhole board manufacturer since 2005. They make a decent product, but they don’t meet the standards of high end boards put forth in a recent article I posted, How Much Does  A Cornhole Set Cost? They have a great array of products including wood tabletop cornhole boards, which is what we’re really interested in today.

Their tabletop boards are made of wood for sure. Although I can’t confirm, I would imagine pine considering that’s what they use for all other wood products produced. You can get a set painted white or you can get a set that has a design. A full set of bags come with the boards, and as a nice little option you can choose your colors.

Viva Sol | Mini Cornhole Set

This is a company that does a pretty nice business on Amazon. They have a slim selection of product that’s available at a pretty decent price. I must say that even though they seem to be a good company, in my opinion they’re products are slightly below middle of the road as far as pure quality goes.

Viva Sol offers a wood tabletop cornhole set. It says in the listing it’s has a “Walnut Finish” so that is kind of an ambiguous statement for what it’s truly made of. Now, I need to take a quick timeout. I just realized I am being super serious about a set of cornhole boards that fit in the palm of your hand and cost around $20… LOL. I find it kind of funny but I just wanted to put in perspective what we are evaluating here! Okay okay let me get back on track so I can give you the information you came here for.

Tabletop Cornhole… Played With Quarters!

Now this is a new twist on cornhole: Tabletop cornhole played with quarters.

Now, I’m not quite old enough to remember the legendary game of quarters, but I’ve heard of the epic showdowns my dad and his friends had back in college where they spent hours upon hours bouncing quarters into shot glasses.

Combine that game with cornhole and voila! A new game is born. Instead of using mini bags, you use quarters and bounce them onto the board or, even better, into the hole. The original version of the rules and scoring is roughly the same as regular cornhole. 1 point for getting a quarter on the board and 3 points for getting the quarter in the hole. So simple and so addicting!

Coinhole | Tabletop Cornhole (with quarters)

Coinhole is a compay that’s been around since 2008 making and selling tabletop cornhole boards. They make a nice little product and sell at a competitive price. Unlike the tabletop cornhole sets mentioned above, generally cornhole with quarters boards are sold individually. I think the reason is because the game is easier to play one on one with one board while standing next to your opponent.

Coinhole offers a large selection of designs and boards and seem to be nicely built. They also offer free shipping for all orders over $40 which is a nice touch.
